The History Of Lusti Motors
Rudi Lusti was born and raised in the tiny village of Nesslau, Switzerland. He was trained as an automotive technician at the Volkswagen factory in Germany. He left to see the world and ended up in San Diego. In 1964, he opened a small shop known as Rudi Lusti Inc. at 4664 Park Boulevard, specializing in VW Beetle and Porsche service. He added the Audi line in the 1970's, and later BMW in the early 80's.
Passing On The Tradition
In 1989, Rudi retired and passed the business to his sons John and Andre Lusti. who have been operating the business since. In 1997, John and Andre merged Rudi Lusti Inc. with Lance Dickson Motors, changing the company name to Lusti Motors and moving to the location where it stands today.

Herbert "Rudi" Rudloff's Autohaus Stuttgart has been a local leader for independent Mercedes-Benz service in San Diego for over 30 years. We're pleased to unite service offerings with Autohaus Stuttgart at our facility to better serve the San Diego community. We look forward to meeting Rudi's customers at his new location.
